Create a Birthday Wordle
Turn a real birthday into a puzzle. Enter the date — any year works — add a message that appears when they crack it, and send the private link. Whoever opens it guesses the date digit by digit, with too-high/too-low hints. The date is lightly scrambled in the link so chat previews don't spoil it.
How it works
- Enter the birthday. Unlike the famous-birthday game, there's no year limit — a newborn's birthday works as well as a great-grandparent's.
- Add an optional name (it appears above the board as "Guess Mom's birthday") and an optional message — it stays hidden until the puzzle is solved, so it lands like opening a card.
- Send the link, or print the QR code and tuck it into the birthday card. No app, no sign-up, and the link never expires.
The player gets eight guesses with the usual clues: green, yellow and grey digits plus too-high/too-low hints after each try. Family puzzles don't touch anyone's statistics — they're just for fun. Prefer words over numbers? You can also build a custom word Wordle with their name and inside jokes.
