How to play Solitaire
  1. Klondike: build each suit on the four piles at the top right, from Ace to King. In the seven columns, stack cards downward in alternating colours; only a King may fill an empty column. Click the stock to turn cards over.
  2. Spider: build eight runs from King down to Ace in one suit. Any card may go on a card one rank higher, but only a run of one suit moves together. A finished run leaves the table. Click the stock to deal a row once every column holds a card.
  3. Drag cards, or click a card and then its destination. Double-click sends a card home, and a right-click on the table sends home everything that can go. Ctrl+Z undoes a move.
  4. Every deal is proven winnable. Start over as often as you like, undo is unlimited, and each deal comes with 10 hints.

Today's Solitaire deal

Everyone playing on the same local date gets the same cards. Some days it is Klondike, the Solitaire most people grew up with: build each suit from Ace to King on the four piles at the top right, and stack the seven columns downward in alternating colours. Other days it is Spider, where you build eight runs from King to Ace inside the table itself.

Every deal was played through to a win by a solver before it went live, so there is always a way out. Undo is unlimited, starting over is free, and a hint shows the next useful move - each deal comes with 10. Your game and clock survive a refresh, and a win keeps your calendar streak alive.

Frequently asked questions

Is every daily Solitaire deal winnable?

Yes. Before a deal goes live, a solver plays it through to a win. If you get stuck, undo and look for another line - the deal itself always has a way out.

Which game is today: Klondike or Spider?

About half of all days are Klondike Draw One. The rest are Spider, in one suit, and from October 2026 some days are two-suit Spider. Everyone on the same local date gets the same deal.

Can I start over?

As often as you like. Start over puts the same cards back and resets the clock. Undo is unlimited, and every deal comes with 10 hints.

Is this the official Microsoft Solitaire?

No. This is an independent, fan-made game in the classic 1990s desktop style, not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft or any other publisher.
