How to play Sudoku

  1. Fill every row with 1 through 9. No number can repeat in a row.
  2. Fill every column with 1 through 9. No number can repeat in a column.
  3. Fill every 3×3 box with 1 through 9. Each digit appears exactly once per box.

Use Notes to pencil in candidates. Three incorrect entries end the round, and each puzzle offers up to three hints.

Today's Sudoku challenge

Fill the 9×9 grid so every row, every column and every outlined 3×3 box contains the digits 1 through 9 exactly once. Everyone playing on the same local date receives the same uniquely solvable puzzle and difficulty.

Select a cell and use the number pad or your keyboard. Notes add small candidate digits, Undo restores entries, Pause stops the timer, and up to three hints reveal a correct cell. Three incorrect entries end the daily round. Your grid and timer survive a refresh, and a new challenge arrives at local midnight.
